Our friend, Erik, offered us a place to stay in a small farming village called Le Chantal, just outside of a barely larger village called Pierrefort
Erik’s home was INCREDIBLE!
We spent a day working on the farm with the cows of Chantal
Then we inadvertently booked an entire restaurant to ourselves…
But we loved the restaurant so we went back the next night with our some new friends…
We were told of a must-visit cheese shop. So we put the address in Google Maps, but ended up on a road that looked okay at first…
…but eventually became very clearly not meant for cars. So after about an hour of wiggling our way out, we were unable to get to the cheese shop on time. So we tried the next day before heading out of town…
Meghan was very happy to finally find the unpasteurized cheese
